• September is upon us here in Denver and that can mean only one thing.  It's time again for the Great American Beer Festival, a time when our fair city is inundated by all walks of life from the world of beer.  It’s an incredible time of the year to be in Denver and you can feel the electricity in the air all around town!

  We listened to your feedback from last year and we’re putting it into action this year - you wanted to make it easier and have more opportunities to visit the SCW Distillery and your wishs have been granted.  We’ve extended our tour times this year, adding an additional day to the lineup on Thursday, the 16^th, and running tours hourly on the days of the festival.  But we didn’t stop there.  We’ve also teamed up with the Rackhouse Pub and will be running a free shuttle bus between the distillery and the convention center during the day on Thursday and Friday to get your SCW fix while you're in town.  You've got to admit: September in Colorado - life is pretty good.

• GABF Barrel Giveaway!  In honor of you, our loyal Stranafans, and your arrival at the Great American Beer Festival this year, we've teamed up with our friends over at Beer Clothing Co - we're going in and we're giving away.  Look for two of our used barrels this year in the dead center of it all at the GABF, on display at the Beer Clothing merchandise booth.  Sign up in person, at the booth at the GABF for a chance to win a barrel of your very own.  Not going to the GABF?  No worries - you can also sign up for the raffle when you take a tour at the distillery between the September 16th - 18th.  What would you do with a spent barrel of your very own?  Oh the possibilities...  You can almost taste the oaky goodness!

• We've added tours! Beginning this weekend (9/4), Saturday tours at SCW now run hourly from 10am until 5pm. Reserve your spot online at the tours page! If Saturdays don't work for you, we also still hold our regular tours at 11, 1, 3 & 5 on Mon, Wed and Fri. See you at the distillery!

• Batch 60 is in the bottle and Denver's Fox news channel was there for the festivities.  Check out the video coverage!
