Jordan Hughes aka High-Proof Preacher is taking over the Stranahan’s distillery on September 25 + September 26! Join us for a special two-night event featuring one of the most acclaimed names in the cocktail industry.
Jordan Hughes is a full-time creative in the food & beverage industry, based out of Portland, OR. He works as a photographer, recipe developer and social media consultant for various brands, bars and restaurant groups. In 2017, he started the Instagram and blog titled High-Proof Preacher, which has since been featured in Forbes, AskMen, Liquor.com, VinePair, & was awarded both the editor’s & reader’s choice for Best Drinks Instagram 2019 by Saveur Magazine.

Jordan Hughes will be taking over the Stranahan’s Whiskey Lounge! Hughes has created three unique Stranahan’s cocktails that will be featured in the Lounge on this day only. Hughes will be behind the bar making drinks and chatting with guests. Copies of Hughes book “Twist” will be available for sale in the Stranahan’s General Store.

Join us for a special cocktail class hosted by Jordan Hughes. Each guest will be given their own cocktail station, where Hughes will provide step by step education on preparing two of his favorite Stranahan’s cocktails. Light bites and a welcome cocktail will be included in the programming. Each guest will also receive a signed copy of Hughes latest cocktail book, “Twist.”
