Position Description:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a key leader in daily operations, working closely with the General Manager to maintain exceptional service standards, team morale, and a high-performance hospitality environment. The AGM helps drive both guest satisfaction and operational excellence, while also championing special events and programming to elevate the brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to lead and inspire a dedicated team, cultivating a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Oversee private event operations from inquiry to execution—listings, networking, site visits, proposals, bookings, and client communications.
- Develop relationships with local concierges and hospitality partners to increase visibility and drive traffic.
- Co-lead public programming such as cocktail classes, tastings, workshops, and pairing dinners.
- Manage retail operations: inventory, product displays, and par levels.
- Assist with payroll and administrative tasks to ensure smooth back-of-house operations.
- Engage directly with guests to deliver memorable, high-touch hospitality.
- Ensure brand standards and service expectations are met across all touchpoints.
- Address operational or guest-related issues efficiently and professionally.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members.
- Oversee staff scheduling and enforce company policies.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in food and beverage execution.
- Maintain compliance with TIPS certification, health and safety regulations, and food handling protocols.
Skills/Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant, bar, or cocktail-focused leadership roles.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and beverage—especially whiskey!
- Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing or coordinating events (preferred).
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of hospitality best practices and guest experience standards.
- Knowledge of local health codes and safety regulations.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
