Colorado turns 150, and we’re throwing a birthday bash worthy of the milestone.
Join us on Saturday, August 1 at the Stranahan’s Distillery for a full day of whiskey, live music, food trucks, and community impact. Be among the first to snag a bottle of our highly anticipated Stranahan’s Bottled-in-Bond American Single Malt Whiskey, then spend the day celebrating everything that makes Colorado special.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT COLORADO DAY
Attendees can kick off Colorado Day giving back with the Greenway Foundation river cleanup before heading into the distillery for $5 tours, where every guest gets behind-the-scenes access to how Stranahan’s American single malt whiskey gets made, and a guaranteed spot to purchase at two bottles of the new Bottled-in-Bond release.
From noon to 6pm, the party takes over the patio with three live music sets, whiskey cocktails, food trucks, and lawn games.
Greenway Foundation River Cleanup Event
Session #1: 8am – 10:30am
Session #2: 8:45am – 11:15am
Start the day by helping preserve Colorado’s waterways alongside the Greenway Foundation. Volunteers will participate in a community cleanup initiative supporting the rivers and streams that make Colorado one of the most beautiful places to call home.
$5 Colorado Day Distillery Tours
Time: 1pm – 6pm (9 available slots)
Duration: 45 minutes
Experience the award-winning Stranahan’s Distillery with a special Colorado Day Tour. Go behind the scenes of Colorado’s first legal whiskey distillery since Prohibition and discover how our American single malt whiskey is made, from grain to glass. Each tour includes tastings of Stranahan’s whiskey led by our expert whiskey guides.
As an added Colorado Day perk, all tour guests are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase up to two bottles of the new Stranahan’s Bottled-in-Bond American Single Malt Whiskey following their tour. Guests must be present on the tour to claim bottle access.
Best of all, 100% of tour proceeds benefit the Greenway Foundation and its mission to protect and improve Colorado’s waterways.
Colorado Day Bash

The party starts at noon with an afternoon of live music, whiskey cocktails, local food trucks, and patio celebrations at the distillery.
