Our Unique Angel’s Share

Due to Denver’s high altitude and the use of new American Charred Oak barrels, Mountain Angel experiences a significantly higher evaporation rate than comparable Scotch whiskies. This unique “angel’s share” loss concentrates the flavors, resulting in a depth and complexity that belies its age.

Mountain Angel 12 Year is a rare and limited-edition expression that showcases the pinnacle of American Single Malt. With every sip, you’ll experience the harmonious balance of sweet fruit, warm spice, and a touch of smoke.

DISTILLATION: Mountain Angel 12 Year is distilled in small batches from 100% malted barley and pristine Rocky Mountain water.

MATURATION: Matured for a full 12 years, this exceptional whiskey is finished in refined Port wine casks from Portugal. Only the finest barrels are selected, many of which have experienced a dramatic angel’s share loss—over 80%. This unique evaporation process concentrates the flavors, imparting a rich, oak-forward character.
