PROCESS & PROFILE
Stranahan’s Original is a small batch American single malt whiskey, crafted from 100% malted barley and aged in new American oak barrels with a #3 char. Now aged between 6–9 years, every bottle is a harmonious marriage of barrels that develop layers of complexity with each passing season. Cut to proof with Rocky Mountain spring water, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 47% ABV, Original delivers a bold, balanced flavor with notes of oak, vanilla, and spice. Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite classic whiskey cocktail.
NOSE: Caramel-butterscotch, vanilla, maple syrup, leather.
PALATE: Cinnamon-butter, vanilla, chocolate, warm caramel & spiced pear; flows over the tongue like table cream & melted brown sugar, finishing with a hint of cayenne, rich tobacco, oak & aged leather.
FINISH: Light fruitiness and strong oak presence with rich tobacco and aged leather.
